McLaren F1 car half 2016 parts at Abu Dhabi GP - Fernando Alonso
Half of the parts in McLaren's
Formula 1 auto during the current weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have been
manufactured for its 2016 challenger, says Fernando Alonso.
Honda's grieved F1 return brought about McLaren changing its
center to next season sooner than most squads, with Alonso and fellow team
member Jenson Button pronouncing on different events that the accentuation was
basically on testing for what's to come.
That will proceed at Yas Marina this weekend, with Alonso
saying the group was hardly amusing the possibility of upgrading Sauber in the
season finale to claim eighth in the constructors' title.
"I believe it's impossible," he said.
"They are nine focuses ahead. We have scored focuses
three or four times just this year. To score upwards of 10 in one race is
somewhat troublesome.
"We will attempt to put forth a valiant effort, attempt
and perform and have a decent weekend yet our brains are on one year from now's
undertaking.
"Half of the auto is one year from now's parts and
rationality.
"So I don't think we have to stress over beating Sauber
this weekend."
In spite of the continuous work, and conviction that Honda's
yield will enhance fundamentally in 2016, Alonso conceded that exactly how
firmly McLaren would begin the new crusade was "a question mark".
"It's a think about where McLaren-Honda can be one year
from now," he said.
"There is a considerable measure of desire in the
group. We have buckled down all season, united in some troublesome minutes and
continually pushing ahead.
"For 2016, the principle objective is to return to
where we have a place, being aggressive, battling for the top positions.
"I don't know whether that implies battling for big
showdowns or triumphs or simply being on platform. That is hard to know in an
unpredictable game like F1.
"There are certainly some enormous test ahead in the
winter and I see every one of the things the group has done in the last couple
of months.
"It appears to be sure. I'm certain it will be a
totally diverse season one year from now and I'm content with the advancement."
