Fiat Presents Euro-Spec 124 Spider With Downgraded 140HP Turbo
Fiat didn't squander at whatever time on their new 124 Spider, as
soon after reporting the North American model, they discharged subtle elements
on the EMEA adaptation for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Except for the (better looking) clear
turning lenses on the headlights at the front and the obscured tail light
plastic encompasses at the back, there don't appear to be whatever other
restorative contrasts between the North American and European detail models.
While the two autos have the same
1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo motor, the European spec model gets a milder form of
the four pot conveying 140PS (138hp) and 240Nm (177 lb-ft), down from the
US-spec 124 Spider's 160PS (158hp) and 249Nm (184 lb-ft). Despite the fact that
over the lake it gets both 6-speed manual and programmed gearboxes, Fiat just
said the stick shift for Europe.
Then again, this is just the starting and
Fiat will no doubt wind up offering all the more effective emphasess of the
1.4-liter unit in the Old Continent not far off.
As it did with the American model, it will
likewise dispatch a restricted creation Anniversary version in Europe, yet
rather than the previous' blue Azzuro Italia paint with seat cocoa seats, it
will get Rosso Passione outside paint with cowhide seats in dark.
European offers of Fiat's elucidation of
the Mazda Miata will start next summer.
